Q:
What will a modchip do for
me?
A: The intended purpose of the mod
chips on this site is to allow you to use your game console to play
imports and backups. |
|
Q: Can I remove
the mod chip down the road if a better one comes along or I need to make
a warranty claim?
A: Yes, we can remove the mod chip and traces of soldering work
FREE of charge. This will bring it back to original and it will look
untouched. Only then should you send it back to Nintendo for repair |
|

Q: Is it safe to
use a game from another region (Europe or Japan) to update my Wii?
A: NO this is not safe, it will brick (damage) your Wii.
Do not update with a Europe or Japan game. Only U.S.A games are
safe to do updates with!
Q: How can I avoid "bricking" my Wii, and what is it?
A: Bricking is when you use a game from another region
(ex. Europe or Japan) which applies an update to your u.s.a/Canada Wii,
rendering it useless/dead. You can avoid Bricking your wii by always
having the latest firmware and by using Wii Brick Blocker to patch
images prior to burning them. This program will block the update
in the game. You can download these programs
here:.http://wbb.rockman18.com/?page=home&ln=en |

registering your console with Nintendo. |

Wii void my warranty?
A: There are no warranty stickers or security to
prevent you from tampering with it, so presumably no. Just do not try to
make a claim with a modchip installed :p |

Burning and Backups |
Q: What Burner
should I use?
A: Most people report Pioneer burners to be the most
compatible and most efficient for both this and other consoles, although
other brands like LG, LiteOn etc. will also work. |
|
Q:
What type of program should i use to burn
my downloaded games?
A: We recommand using Imgburn........nero can also be
used |
|
Q: What media
should I use?
A: DVD-R is reccomended, and try to stick to high
quality brands like Taio Yuden and Verbatim to increase the
compatibility and life expectancy of your discs. |
|
Q: Dose burning
speed matter?
A: Yes, stick to the lowest burning speed 4x. |
|
Q: My burns keep
freezing, crashing, or not reading even though they show up in the Wii
Channel, why?
A: Using poor quality media or an incompatible burner
can cause this. It may appear to work fine, but just because it shows in
the channel menu doesn't mean the disc works. I reccomend Pioneer
burners in combination with Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DVD-R discs.
Verbatim DVD+R DL work best for dual layer.
